Privacy Policy

Aza (“Aza,” “we,” “us”) is a money-planning app operated by Aza Money. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: privacy@azamoney.app.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and a securely hashed password, or your Google sign-in email.
- Financial data you connect: when you link a bank through Plaid, we receive account names, balances and transactions (read-only). We never receive or store your bank username or password.
- What you enter: budgets, bills, goals, notes and answers you give Aza.
- Basic technical data: sign-in times, browser type and security logs used to keep your account safe.
How we use it
- To show your budget, bills, goals and answers, and to keep them up to date.
- To prepare suggestions you can approve. Nothing in your plan changes without your approval.
- To keep Aza secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- We do not sell your data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Plaid connects your bank accounts. Plaid’s use of your data is described in the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.
- Anthropic (Claude) powers Ask Aza and the money review. When you use them, a limited set of your budget and transaction details is sent to produce an answer. It is not used to train their models under our API terms.
- Cloudflare hosts Aza and stores your data, encrypted.
- Google if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Authorities, only if the law requires it.
Security
Your data is private to your account. Bank access tokens are encrypted, connections are read-only, and Aza cannot move money.
Your choices
- Disconnect a bank anytime in Accounts.
- Delete your account anytime from your account menu. This deletes your data and disconnects your banks. Backups are cleared within 30 days.
- Ask for a copy of your data or a correction at privacy@azamoney.app.
Children
Aza is for people 18 and older.
Changes
If we make important changes, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
